Congratulations Kathy on becoming the new Fan of the Week

Kathy was assigned the Vancouver/Colarado NHL game this week. Despite her best efforts, the Canucks fell to the Avalance by a score of 3-2, but we were impressed with her report and photos (Yes she sent in 3 Pics!) See one of them here and her game summary. Dear Hireafan.com Staff

I love the Canucks and whenever I get a chance I either go to the game or else I watch the game on the boobtube... We lost today but it was a good close game Naslund did well and Winger Andrew Brunette was on fire.

1st period:

The first period they were not doing great but it was the last minute left in 1st. and Naslund passed the puck to Burrows who passed it back to him and GOAL!!!!!!!!! It gave me some hope since last Vancouver game loss.

2nd period:

Brunette scored after 1:40 into 2nd, Luongo says interference but they counted the goal! D.Sedin who hasnt scored in 6 games finally made a tiebreaker! 2-1 Vancouver! but then the Avalanche tied it again on Stastny's goal.

3rd period:

While anxiously waiting and rooting for the Canucks, 3:22 into the game Brunette took a pass from Brett Clark he slipped the puck past Luongo to break a 2-2 tie at 3:22. 3-2 Avalanche win.

I was disappointed that we didn't win but I got to admit that today was a awesome game and hopefully as soon as Salo comes back we can kick some butt!
